Celebrity Slim™ works by restricting carbohydrates and overall energy in your diet, which stimulates your metabolism to burn more calories. Eating smaller meals more often throughout the day is also important to boost your metabolism.
We ask you to drink 2 litres of water everyday and eat 5 – 6 smaller meals, rather than the traditional 2 or 3 larger meals. The result of changing to this way of eating is your fat burning potential is much greater.

It works in a number of ways
1. The most basic premise of any weight loss programme is that we need to burn more energy (calories) each day than we consume (creating an energy deficit). This means either burning more energy (via exercise) or consuming less energy by being smarter about the foods that you choose to eat. It doesn’t necessarily mean eating less, just consuming less calories.

2. By reducing the amount of carbohydrates that we typically consume each day. Carbohydrates are your body’s preferred fuel source and are typically high in energy. Celebrity Slim™ aims to moderate carbohydrate intake, but it is NOT a “low-carb” diet.
3. By helping to establish healthy habits and break bad ones. Introducing good habits, like eating regular smaller meals, drinking water and choosing lower carbohydrate foods is an important step in achieving sustainable weight loss. The first step though is to break down some of the bad habits that people have established.
4. The high rate of fat burning on the programme will produce some waste products that your body must expel. The main waste product produced is called ketones and they can build up in your blood. Your body will excrete ketones through your urine. However, if you aren’t drinking enough water each day, then your body will be unable to excrete ketones efficiently which will slow down your fat burning. So the message here is drink at least 2 litres of water each day. Mineral water and soda water are OK as well. All other drinks should be in addition to your water intake. You should also know that tea and coffee have a mild diuretic effect, they dehydrate you. So if you are drinking tea and coffee during the day, drink a bit more water.
